Compliments are expressions of praise or admiration and we’ve probably received them and given them to someone or the other. Often compliments are centered on one’s physical appearance, body, clothing, hair makeup, and style. The best thing about compliments is that while you give positive compliments to others, it gives a quick ego boost and the most resounding and heartfelt compliments lead to focus on your character or the innate inner qualities you possess which make you unique. Receiving a compliment that is expressed with sincerity always ramps up your “feel good” meter. But did you know that giving a compliment to someone else can be just as powerful to you and create and wonderful energy? The pure act of giving a compliment which is genuine and boosts one’s positivity. You all must be wondering why am I talking about compliments? I’m talking about compliments because I’m gonna tell you all about 3 compliments that I’ve received so far which have created a positive impact on me.

I) Your a very helpful person Being of help to others is a quality I’ve inherited from my mother. I’ve always seen her go out of her way to help others. The same is with me. I go to any extent to help people if I can. I like helping people and swing the smile on their faces. Talking about this compliment I’ve received it from my juniors at Goa university while pursuing my masters degree. They’ve presented me with a certificate with these words written on it.

II) Because of your smile, you make life more beautiful — Life each day brings with it new challenges. Most of the times we are in a hurry to overcome these challenges and live life that we often forget the gift of smile. Throughout the day overcoming challenges if we see even one person who is smiling it makes our day. Smiling in challenging situations is difficult but those who are able to do it bold and brave people according to me. I am a person who likes to be smiling so that I can spread positive energy to others. No matter what the situation is I keep smiling face. Talking about this compliment I have received it when I first joined my job at a NewAge. The floor manager in my office during an event at said to the staff that “she is one person who always has a smiling face and greet everyone with a smile no matter how much work she has.” As they say.

III) You have a creative mind and are a progressive girl- Being creative is what I inherited from my mother. She is a person who has a creative mind. She has inspired me to think out of the box and be progressive in life. she inspires me at every stage of my life. I’ve learnt to write and think creatively from her. Talking about this compliment I’ve received from one of my readers and also a good friend of mine who always sees the positive side of me and encourages me to be more creative and progressive by giving with right advises and filles me with positive thoughts.
